About Thrive Theory
-
Welcome! I'm Katie – your friendly neighborhood expert in lactation and infant feeding. I am an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), experienced maternal-child health Registered Nurse (RN), and the proud owner of Thrive Theory Lactation and Infant Feeding. For the last decade, I've been on a mission to guide families through the exciting journey of new parenthood through home visits, virtual sessions, problem-focused care and anticipatory guidance. Whatever you need, I’ve got you covered!
At Thrive Theory we’re great at solving feeding hiccups, but what really excites us is preventing them in the first place! It's about giving you the knowledge and tools to feed your baby and parent with confidence. But when problems do arise, rest assured that we don’t just address the surface issues— we dive deep to uncover the root causes and help you get back on track.

Thrive Theory is the evidence-based philosophy at the heart of everything I do as a nurse and lactation consultant.
It's simple: when families thrive, so do their little ones. I'm here to understand your unique needs and work together to craft customized, sustainable feeding plans. Whether it's direct breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, or any combination of feeding strategies, we'll navigate the journey together with open conversations, trust, and absolutely no judgment.
Rest assured, I'm not about one-size-fits-all solutions. Thrive Theory is all about getting to the true root causes of any feeding challenges that you encounter, and embracing what works for your family. Ready to embark on this adventure? I'm here to support you through the highs, lows, and everything in between. Let's work together to create a story of thriving wellness for you and your family!
